It’s been a little over a year since I’ve had the wonderful experience of visiting Blenheim in the City of Fairfax with Andrea Loewenwarter. I was deeply moved when I stood in the attic and saw this signatures by individuals who had left their mark on the walls of this building. The City of Fairfax has done history a service by preserving this building. During our recent blizzard in the metro area, I came across this Washington Post article that was published when the Civil War Interpretive Center opened in the Fall of 2008.
