Early Animation Work

I wanted to share this video. It’s a demo reel of my early animations.  Some of it is work from graduate school but other work is professional collaborative team-based projects.  For the professional projects, I was responsible for the 3/D animations.   You will see some video compositing done by other artists as well as a purchased 3/D head and skull in a medical animations about sinus problems.

– Just in time for flu season!

My work is seen in:

  • the movement
  • the textures
  • the lightening
  • the modeling.

My passion is movement over modeling.

The editing of this video is the work of the brilliant DC based editor AC Warden of Cherchez la femme productions.   It was an honor to have someone of her calibre edit my demo reel.  For those of you that are familiar with my 2/D work on ToxMystery, there is an early effort at cat animations at the end of the reel.
I call it Jazz Kitty!

Let me know what you think!

You can view it on YouTube at a high resolution: Early Work Demo Reel on YouTube

  1. That is quite impressive! Very modern, the music does well in integrating all of the different segments and I particularly love the detail of the frames in the segment with the cultural pictures on the wheels. Nice statement.
