Washington in Spring and Adobe User Group

I had the opportunity to go to my first Adobe InDesign User Group last  night.I’ve been to a number of software releases for the the Creative Suites which are all day events. This was the first evening event that I have attended.

The topic of the User Group was creating accessible PDFs. Adobe brought in an expert who has spent years producing accessible documents for the Social Security Administration. It was wonderful to receive such great information from a leader in the field.  She gave very real world advice on what to look out when creating accessible documents. Thank You!

Finally , yesterday was a wonderful day in Washington. I left early for the event anticipating traffic. Surprisingly, I didn’t encounter the usual backgrounds.

I arrived over an hour early. I was able to truly enjoy how gorgeous Washington DC can be on a spring day. I parked across from the NewsMuseum and walked over to the National Gallery. I had a half an hour to enjoy the galleries on a weekend.  I was then able to walk back over to the event location and enjoy the pleasant spring day.  What a treat!
